Founded by the Comiskey family in 2005, through their own experiences of caring for a family member , the Cork Alzheimers Home Support charity aims to facilitate families caring for their loved ones suffering from this disease to continue to stay at home longer in their own environment....

The Cork Alzheimers Home Support assigns a trained dementia and alzheimers carer to provide support and care in the person’s home for 4 hour sessions per week. In doing so, the carer will offer stimulation and activity for the person with dementia / alzheimers and a welcome break for the main carer.....
